Conny Hörl and Katja Ruhnke , originally from Munich, are a perfect team as business partners and sisters, and together they manage CK Workspace.
Conny has moved a little further south to neighboring Austria, but regularly returns to her hometown to take care of the local business. Katja not only manages the family business but also takes care of her role as chairwoman of the German Business Angel Association (BAND).
Both share a passion for new projects and a love of entrepreneurship. And, incidentally, they're also passionate investors. Conny and Katja agree: women will play a much more important role as investors in the future. They see themselves as role models to show other women that the venture capital scene urgently needs more female power.
This energy also led to the creation of CK WORKSPACE in 2022. The two have created a place where entrepreneurial creativity meets comfort and a sense of community. This is where people can network, be inspired, and have fun at work.
Philipp Rupprecht , the perfect Operations Manager for the CK Workspace, is on board. He has a passion for 5-star service, and you can see that at every turn in the CK Workspace.
As Office Manager, Gabi Minich is much more than just a kind soul. She handles customer inquiries, manages purchasing, and ensures that every seminar guest is well looked after.

Conny Hörl
Entrepreneur with passion
Conny Hörl is a true all-rounder. Based in Austria, she runs a group of companies specializing in fitness, health, cosmetics, and digitalization. She and her husband Christian form a true dream team. She is an active speaker and author and, together with Katja, has been investing in impact-oriented startups since 2019. One of her passion projects is meditation. She is a meditation teacher with a focus on female leadership.
That's me:
"I studied business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (LMU ). Even during my studies, I began to suspect that my heart was in entrepreneurship. No wonder, since I was born into an entrepreneur.
After graduating, I developed smaller real estate projects. But in 1998, everything changed: I settled in Salzburg, and with the move, I found myself in a new business area: the fitness industry.
Our group of companies includes over 20 fitness centers in Austria and Germany, several companies in the fields of physiotherapy, nutrition and cosmetics, and a consulting firm for digital-systemic issues related to the fitness industry.
In 2019, my path led me partly back to Bavaria, where I am looking for interesting investments together with Katja.
The last 20 years have shown me how fulfilling it is to help people live better, healthier, and happier lives. Therefore, I'm happy to support projects that pursue a similar mission."
Katja Ruhnke
Katja Ruhnke is Managing Director of CK Venture Capital GmbH and has thus taken over the operational side of the company. In addition to her work as an investor, the trained musical actress and mother of two children works in the family-owned business in Unterschleißheim near Munich.

"I grew up as the child of a Munich entrepreneurial family. However, I then trained as a musical actress and studied cultural management. This took me on and off stage for over 10 years.
In the cultural sector, entrepreneurship caught up with me early on: with my own theater production company, I brought Shakespeare plays to the stage in the form of theater tours.
Eventually, my path led me back home to the family business. While searching for new business opportunities, I became infected with the idea of startup financing in the summer of 2019.
So I founded CK Venture Capital GmbH together with my sister.
Through this investment vehicle, we, as business angels, primarily invest in impact startups. Today, over 20 startups are already part of our portfolio.
In the fall of 2021, I published my book "Female Money – How Female Investors Are Transforming the Startup World." It was my first book.
I can also be seen as a keynote speaker and panelist at various events.
What I see as my mission? To promote the development of new ideas and visions and ensure greater diversity in the ecosystem.
That's why we created the CK Workspace: It's the nexus of the old and new economy. Here we can help shape the working worlds of tomorrow."

Philipp Rupprecht is Operations Manager of the CK Workspace and is responsible for

That's me:
"I am a trained hotel manager and bring my extensive 5-star hotel experience to CK WORKSPACE . I am a real co-working fan, and in my free time I am involved in various co-working associations.
In this sense, I am a true service professional when it comes to customer satisfaction.
I grew up in a Munich family. I then trained as a hotel manager and then studied hotel management. Afterward, I worked for 11 years in various hotels in Germany and abroad.
I discovered my passion for the operational side of reception quite early on. As a concierge, no two days are the same.
In November 2018, I became aware of the co-working industry. In 2019, I took over the establishment and development of the co-working space "Timespaces."
Since 2021, I have been supporting Conny and Katja in setting up the CK WORKSPACE.
In addition to my jobs, I am an avid mountain biker, golfer and volunteer in the co-working association.
I firmly believe that the working world of tomorrow must and will change! Co-working spaces will be an integral part of the working world of tomorrow. I'm all the more excited about the development and direction of CK WORKSPACE.
