Where we use subcontractors to provide our services, we take appropriate legal precautions and corresponding technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data in accordance with the relevant legal requirements.

Data transfer to a third country or an international organization

Third countries are countries in which the GDPR is not directly applicable law. This basically includes all countries outside the EU or the European Economic Area.

There is a data transfer to a third country or an international organization.

Note on data processing in the USA by Google, Meta: If you give us your consent for our advertising services via the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website, data is also transferred to the USA. According to the current legal situation, the USA is considered a country with an insufficient level of data protection. There is a risk that your data will be processed by US authorities, for control and monitoring purposes. Currently, there are no legal remedies against this practice. You can revoke your granted consent at any time for the future. To exercise your revocation, deactivate this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

Storage period of your personal data

We adhere to the principles of data economy and data avoidance. This means that we store your data only as long as necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes or as specified by the various storage periods provided by law. If the respective purpose ceases to apply or after expiry of the corresponding periods, your data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

If you contact us via the website, you agree to electronic communication. Personal data is processed when you contact us electronically. The information you provide will be stored exclusively for the purpose of processing the request and for possible follow-up questions.

We would like to point out that e-mails can be read or changed on the transmission path without authorization or being noticed. Furthermore, we draw your attention to the fact that we use software to filter unwanted e-mails (spam filter). The spam filter can reject e-mails if they have been falsely identified as spam by certain characteristics.

What rights do you have?

g) Right of objection

You have the possibility at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object to the processing of your data pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (e) and (f); this also applies to profiling based on these provisions.

CK Workspace GmbH shall then no longer process your personal data, unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.

If personal data are processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling, insofar as it is associated with such direct marketing. In the event of such an objection, we will no longer process your personal data for the purposes of direct advertising. For this purpose, it is sufficient to send us an appropriate e-mail.

h) Right of withdrawal

You have the possibility at any time to revoke your consent to the processing of your data with effect for the future without giving reasons. You will not suffer any disadvantages as a result of the revocation. For this purpose, it is sufficient to send us a corresponding e-mail.

Protection of your personal data

We take contractual, technical and organizational security measures in accordance with the state of the art to ensure compliance with data protection laws and thus to protect the processed data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorized persons.

The security measures include in particular the encrypted transmission of data between your browser and our server. For this purpose, a 256-bit SSL (AES 256) encryption technology is used.

In doing so, your personal data will be protected within the scope of the following points (excerpt):

a) Maintaining the confidentiality of your personal data

To maintain the confidentiality of your data stored with us, we have taken various measures to control access, entry and access control.

b) Maintaining the integrity of your personal data

To maintain the integrity of your data stored with us, we have taken various measures to control disclosure and input.

c) Maintaining the availability of your personal data

To maintain the availability of your data stored with us, we have taken various measures for order and availability control.

The security measures in place are continuously improved in line with technological developments. Despite these precautions, due to the insecure nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmission to our website. Due to this, any data transmission by you is at your own risk.

Protection of minors

Personal information may only be provided to us by persons who have not yet reached the age of 16 with the express consent of their legal guardians. This data will be processed in accordance with this data protection notice.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

- Browser type and version

- Operating system used

- Referrer URL

- Host name of the accessing computer

- Time of the server request

- IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The basis for the data processing is our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of your Internet browser. The cookies allow, for example, the recognition of the Internet browser. The files are used to help the browser navigate through the website and to make full use of all functions.

Cookie Consent Tool

This website uses a so-called "cookie consent tool" to obtain effective user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent. This website uses the cookie consent tool of Cybot A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark ("CookieBot").

The "Cookie Consent Tool" is displayed to users in the form of an interactive user interface when they call up the page, on which consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be granted by setting a check mark. By using the tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user grants the corresponding consent by setting a check mark. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the respective user's end device if consent has been granted.

The tool sets technically necessary cookies to save your cookie preferences. Personal user data is not processed in this process.

If, in individual cases, personal data (such as the IP address) is processed for the purpose of storing, assigning or logging cookie settings, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO on the basis of our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our website.

Further legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO. As the responsible party, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies dependent on the respective user consent.

You can find more information about the operator and the setting options of the cookie consent tool directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.

Google reCAPTCHA

On this website we use the CAPTCHA service of the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland

Data may also be transmitted to: Google LLC, USA. For the visual design of the captcha window, the provider uses "Google Fonts", i.e. fonts loaded from the Internet by Google. There is no processing of information other than that mentioned above, which is already transmitted to Google via the functionality of ReCaptcha.

According to the current legal situation, the USA is considered a country with an insufficient level of data protection. There is a risk that your data will be processed by US authorities, for control and monitoring purposes. Currently, there is no legal remedy against this practice.

The service checks whether an input is made by a natural person or abusively by machine and automated processing, and blocks spam, DDoS attacks, and similar automated malicious access. To ensure that an action is performed by a human and not by an automated bot, Cloudflare Turnstile collects the IP address of the end device used, recognition data of the browser and operating system type used, as well as the date and duration of the visit, and transmits these to servers of the provider for evaluation.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in establishing individual ownership on the Internet and preventing abuse and spam in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.

We have concluded an order processing contract with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

For the transfer of data to the USA, the provider invokes standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which are intended to ensure compliance with the European level of data protection.

Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), to analyze the use of websites.

When you access this website, no cookies (text files that are stored on your terminal device and that enable an analysis of your use of the website) are used by default in the so-called consent mode (beta version) of Google Analytics 4, unless you expressly consent to the setting of cookies and the reading of information from cookies after a corresponding request. Until such consent is given, if any, and - if you expressly refuse to give such consent when requested to do so by us - no cookies will be set or read by Google Analytics 4 during your continued use of this website. Instead, certain information about your usage behavior is collected and processed with so-called "pings".

The information collected in this case by so-called pings about your use of the website (including the IP address transmitted by your terminal device, shortened by the last digits, see below) is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored and further processed there. This may also result in the transmission of information to the servers of Google LLC, which is based in the USA, and further processing there. If you expressly consent to the use of cookies, the same applies to the information collected by cookies about your use of the website.

When using Google Analytics 4, the IP address transmitted by your terminal device when you use the website is always collected and processed by default and automatically only in an anonymized manner, so that a direct personal reference of the collected information is excluded. This automatic anonymization is carried out by shortening the IP address transmitted by your terminal device by Google within member states of the European Union (EU) or other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA) by the last digits.

On our behalf, Google uses this and other information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about your website activities or your usage behavior and to provide us with other services related to your website and internet usage. In this context, the IP address transmitted and shortened by your terminal device within the scope of Google Analytics 4 will not be merged with other data from Google. The data collected in the context of the use of Google Analytics 4 will be retained for 2 months and then deleted.

Google Analytics 4 also enables the creation of statistics with statements about the age, gender and interests of website users on the basis of an evaluation of interest-based advertising and with the involvement of third-party information via a special function known as "demographic characteristics". This makes it possible to determine and distinguish user groups of the website for the purpose of targeting marketing measures. However, data collected via the "demographic characteristics" cannot be assigned to a specific person and thus not to you personally. This data collected via the "demographic characteristics" function is retained for two months and then deleted.

All processing described above, including data transfers via "pings" and the possible setting of Google Analytics cookies for the storage and possible reading of information on the terminal device used by you for the use of the website, will only take place if you have given us your express consent for this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO. Without your consent, the analysis of your use of the website will not take place. You can revoke your consent once given at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please deactivate this service via the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.

Note on data processing in the USA: If you give us your consent via the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website, data is also transferred to the USA.

We have concluded a so-called order processing agreement with Google for our use of Google Analytics 4, which obliges Google to protect the data of our website users and not to pass it on to third parties.

To ensure compliance with the European level of data protection also in the event of any transfer of data from the EU or the EEA to the USA and possible further processing there, Google refers to the so-called standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which we have contractually agreed with Google.

Further legal information on Google Analytics 4, including a copy of the aforementioned standard contractual clauses, can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de and at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program "Google Ads" and within the scope of Google Ads the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). We use the offer of Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising media (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites. We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. In this way, we pursue the aim of displaying advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred.

The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google Ads. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your terminal device. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across Google Ads customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. The customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. In the context of the use of Google Ads, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

Details on the processing triggered by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and Google's handling of data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for the reading of information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 (1) a DSGVO.

Note on data processing in the USA: If you give us your consent via the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website, data is also transferred to the USA. According to the current legal situation, the USA is considered a country with an insufficient level of data protection. There is a risk that your data will be processed by US authorities, for control and monitoring purposes. Currently, there is no legal remedy against this practice.

You can revoke your given consent at any time for the future. To exercise your revocation, deactivate this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

You can also permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads conversion tracking by downloading and installing the Google browser plug-in available at the following link:

https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin?hl=de

Please note that certain functions of this website may not be available or may be restricted if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

Google's privacy policy can be viewed here: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

Google Double Click

This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: Google). DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Via a cookie ID, Google records which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed more than once. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later calls up the advertiser's website with the same browser and buys something there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on the ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is the possibility that the provider learns your IP address and stores it.

For more information on DoubleClick by Google, please visit https://www.google.de/doubleclick and http://support.google.com/adsense/answer/2839090, and on data protection at Google in general: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Facebook pixel for creating Custom Audiences

Within our online offer, we use the service "Facebook Pixel" of the following provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Quare, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook").

If a user clicks on an ad placed by us on Facebook, a parameter is added to the URL of our linked page with the help of "Facebook Pixel". This URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser after the redirect by a cookie that our linked page sets itself.

On the one hand, this makes it possible for Facebook to determine the visitors to our online offering as the target group for the display of ads (so-called "Facebook Ads"). Accordingly, we use the service to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited), which we transmit to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences").

On the other hand, "Facebook Pixel" can be used to track whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad and what execution actions they take there (so-called "conversion tracking").

The data collected is anonymous for us, so it does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes.

We have concluded an order processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

The information generated by Facebook is usually transferred to a Facebook server and stored there; in this context, there may also be a transfer to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA.

For the transfer of data to the USA, the provider invokes standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which are intended to ensure compliance with the European level of data protection.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our e-mail newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. Personal data will be collected for this purpose. The only mandatory data for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. The provision of further data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. This data will be used by us for our own advertising purposes in the form of the e-mail newsletter, provided that you have expressly consented to this as follows: "Yes, I would like to subscribe to the newsletter!

We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter. This means that we will only send you an e-mail newsletter if you have expressly confirmed that you consent to the sending of the newsletter. We will then send you a confirmation e-mail asking you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter in the future by clicking on the corresponding link.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent for the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO. Newsletter dispatch via Mailchimp

Our e-mail newsletters are sent via the technical service provider The Rocket Science Group, LLC d/b/a MailChimp, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA (http://www.mailchimp.com/), to whom we pass on the data you provided when registering for the newsletter.

This disclosure is made in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO and serves our legitimate interest in using an effective advertising, secure and user-friendly newsletter system.

Please note that your data is usually transferred to a MailChimp server in the USA and stored there.

MailChimp uses this information to send and statistically evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. For the evaluation, the sent emails contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are single-pixel image files that are stored on our website. This makes it possible to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked on. With the help of the web beacons, Mailchimp automatically creates general, non-personal statistics about the response behavior to newsletter campaigns.

Based on our legitimate interest in the statistical evaluation of newsletter campaigns for the optimization of advertising communication and better targeting of recipient interests, however, the web beacons pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit f DSGVO also collect and utilize data of the respective newsletter recipient (mail address, time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). This data allows an individual conclusion to be drawn about the newsletter recipient and is processed by Mailchimp for the automated creation of statistics that show whether a particular recipient has opened a newsletter message.

If you wish to deactivate the data analysis for statistical evaluation purposes, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter.

MailChimp may also use this data itself in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO on the basis of its own legitimate interest in the needs-based design and optimization of the service, as well as for market research purposes, for example to determine which countries the recipients come from. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass them on to third parties.

To protect your data in the USA, we have concluded a data processing agreement ("Data Processing Agreement") with MailChimp based on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission to enable the transfer of your personal data to MailChimp. If interested, this data processing agreement can be viewed at the following Internet address: https://mailchimp.com/legal/data-processing-addendum/

You can view the privacy policy of MailChimp here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/
