The first half year - What has happened in the CK Workspace?
The opening of our CK Workspace, which took place this year on January 9, is now almost half a year ago. In this post, we'd like to give you a review of the past few months and let you know what's been going on with us and how CK Workspace has evolved over that time. Spoiler: We had a lot going on and we are looking forward to the next exciting months here at CK Workspace!
Our milestones so far
So far, we have had a lot of great moments with our community here with us. One of them was the opening party at the end of last year, where many new and familiar faces were able to visit the Space on site for the first time. Many photos were taken that evening, which are hanging in our Community Kitchen on the 3rd floor and remind us of this great start of a shared journey.
Since the first day, our community has been growing steadily and is strengthened by our community events such as the community breakfast, after-work barbecues on the roof terrace or pizza evenings. There is a strong sense of cohesion and we have noticed that initial friendships have also formed here on site.
In recent months, we have also hosted a number of events on site, from corporate workshops to our own start-up events or entire event series that have put CK Workspace through its paces as an event location - and where both our guests and we have noticed that our beautiful large roof terrace on the 4th floor in particular is perfect for summer events of all kinds.
We are also involved in the Unterschleißheim business network ICU e.V. in order to strengthen the regional economy and support it as a local player.
Outlook for the coming months
In the next few weeks, there will be a lot of things happening here. The outdoor area in front of the building at Franz-Lehner-Strasse 3 will soon be completed; this will provide new parking spaces for our community and thus relieve the parking situation on site. In addition, we are building charging stations for e-bikes and e-cars, so that you can charge your means of transport on site at your leisure. Furthermore, various event series for founders as well as for experienced professionals will start. For all those who like to relax in the evening we offer YOGA classes on our roof terrace.
