As you may know, our founders Conny and Katja are not only a perfect team as siblings and entrepreneurs, but also as business angels since 2019.
The two stumbled upon the topic of impact investing, investing to make the world a better place, in 2019 and it has stuck with them ever since.
That's why the two of them also jointly founded CK Venture Capital GmbH, which has set itself the goal of investing in creative and sustainable ideas. True to their motto "We invest to make the world a little better".
So far, the two are doing it pretty successfully! In doing so, they are also shaking up the investment world, which they believe could do with a lot more female power. With their work as business angels, they not only want to support startups, but also motivate more women to gain a foothold in the startup and investment world.
The Golden Nose- Business Angel of the Year 2023
We are therefore particularly pleased to be able to say: "Yee-hawwwwwww she made it! Our founder Katja is Business Angel of the Year 2023 and has thus won the "Golden Nose" of the Business Angels Netzwerk Deutschland e.V (BAND) won.
The Golden Nose is awarded to the angel investor who stands out for his special commitment to his startups. We are incredibly happy that Katja was nominated for the award by the companies she supports together with her sister Conny and has now also been awarded for her commitment!
This award only confirms what we have known for a long time: Our founders Conny and Katja are not only top entrepreneurs and angel investors with a golden nose for business, but also simply incorruptible on a human level :).
With their work as angel investors and female founders, they want to encourage women and show them by their example what is possible. In their opinion, the investment and corporate world needs many more women! We love so much concentrated female power!
